***WARNING*** DO NOT sign the binding contract unless you don't want your deposit back if you decide to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. They will offer you 10% refund. What a joke. Sales person will push really hard to get you to sign the contract the same day as the quote. Don't do it. I suggest sleeping on it for a few days and read the entire contract. You may need to hire someone to translate it for you because it's not in layman's. Do not trust what the sales person tell you. Also, don't let them raise the cubic footage of your inventory because if you take up less space they won't give credit for it. But, if you take up more space you'll get charged astronomical fees. This company is a broker/operator. I suggest getting multiple quotes first with a direct carrier. Usually if a company requests for a deposit first then run as fast as you can and don't look back. There are reliable companies out there that don't require a deposit and you pay in full when your items are delivered. I emailed my sales person multiple times to see if I can get a re-quote without a response. Quickly he/she disappear once my deposit has been taken. Moving has peak and non peak seasons as well as fuel price variance. When I received my quote it was during high fuel price and peak season but we are now moving into non peak season and customer service said NO re-quoting. I believe in bad KARMA.
They arrived on time, moved items with care and consideration, and in record speed. Scheduling and payment processes were both smooth. I will hire them again in future.
I am a pastor that is moving from Maine to Florida. This company does not deserve even a 1 star rating . The constant changes to the original. Quote is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The mo ers arrived 4 hours late and never called until I had called customer service 9 times. The driver called me and said " we won't be there till 6 do you want us to come tomorrow?" I said no we need you tonight. He walked through and put labels on everything ,which was fine, I asked what held him up he said the stop prior had more stuff than was quoted. I did not think anything about it until he had the truck loaded and said " you are using more space than what was given, you either pay for it or take it offshore much are we talking, he said 3800 now 3800 down at destination! The companies solution was to help pay for a uhaul in addition and bri g the cost down to original quote. I do not have that ki d of money and the kicker is it is the heaviest stuff they would take off. I can't physically lift the heavy things! I asked well what if you take off the light boxes he refused and said the truck is loaded a d he wouldn't do that. The solution was not o e that would resolve anything. I had no choice but to take everything off the Truck, why would I pay almost 9000 for them to transport 37 boxes, a wire rack, a cabinet, a bureau and cedar chest.i have not broken my contract as they have claimed They have with all the behind the s enes nonsense. I asked the driver how come the estimate is so different than the actual, he said the sales always office always does this. I said if I had been quoted by the actual I never would have gone this route because I could not afford it. Lisa at customer service said pay 3800 today and she would ok into it in the mean time. That is not something we can gamble with ecause I would not have 3800 on the destination side and would not be able to retrieve my stuff. You are refusing to give my deposit back when you know full well that the 72 hours is not enough time and we were still just about in that window maybe by one day, I demand a refund of my mo ey a d will tell every person I come across this horrific circumstance that we were placed into.i probably have not accurately portrayed just what an unprofessional, misleading, underhanded company that this is.
